About This Site

I love movies. I love books. I don't always love the movies based on books - or the books chosen for movies - but I find them fascinating anyway.

On this site you'll find:      

• Lists of movies based on books
• List of popular movie authors
• Movies in theatres, coming soon, or just released on DVD that are based on books
• For select films, my thoughts and summaries of what people are saying about both book and movie
• For select films, I'll let you know whether the book or movie is better
• For select films, you'll also get additional detail like: synopsis, starring cast/crew, running time, genre, # of pages in the book

If it's a good movie or a good book or both - I will try to list it on this site. However, the list is subject to my standards and how much time I have to put towards it so I may miss or choose not to include some.

About The Editor

I was a Communications/Pre-Law major at Virginia Tech who ended up in advertising as a media planner. I took plenty of Film and English classes, but other than that I don't have any real "qualifications" for doing this - just my love for books and movies. It works for me and hopefully it will work for this site.

After a 7 year advertising career, I'm now home with my 3 daughters enjoying life with my incredible husband - my high school sweetheart - and sharing my love of books on film with anyone willing to take a read! Thanks for checking out the site!
